Return/Exchange Policy

We appreciate you choosing to shop at Hometown Heritage Clothing!

However, we do know things happen and items need to be sent back sometimes. Due to this, we will do everything we can to try to make things better if you are not completely satisfied with your order and help you find something you love! Please carefully inspect your item(s) upon delivery. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help!

Returns

  • Returns are for store credit only and will be issued in the form of an E-gift card within 5 business days of us receiving the item.
  • Items must be returned in new condition for a store credit/exchange in the following condition: 
    • Unworn, unwashed, with original tags, along with the purchase invoice. Any items that have makeup, deodorant, perfume or similar product stains and/or odor will be denied and shipped back to you at your expense 
    • Returned items must be postmarked within 30 calendar days from the date your order shipped.
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. May be returned through the mail using the carrier of your choice using a trackable number or purchasing shipping insurance. If an item is shipped via First Class Mail and does not get delivered, Hometown Heritage Clothing LLC, will not be held responsible for the lost package and therefore no refund or credit will be issued. 
  • Please allow 5-7 business days to process your return once we receive it. We will inspect it and notify you of the status of your returned item after inspecting the item. Any item that does not meet the criteria listed, will not be processed. 
  • The item must be purchased directly from our website.
  • Customers that return 50% or more of their purchase will be limited on the number of returns/exchanges allowed.
  • Returns that do NOT meet the above criteria are subject to a 35% restocking fee OR denied therefore the items will be shipped back to you at your expense.

Exchanges 

  • Items must be returned for a store credit/exchange in the following condition: 
    • Unworn, unwashed, with original tags, along with the purchase invoice. Any items that have makeup, deodorant, perfume or similar product stains and/or odor will be shipped back to you and are subject to additional shipping cost.
  • You have 30 calendar days of mail delivery date to notify us to receive an exchange
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for exchanging your item. May be returned through the mail using the carrier of your choice using a trackable number or purchasing shipping insurance. If an item is shipped via First Class Mail and does not get delivered, Hometown Heritage Clothing LLC, will not be held responsible for the lost package and therefore no refund or store credit will be issued. 
  • The item must be purchased directly from our website.
  • After an item has been exchanged once, it may be returned a second time for a store credit only. 
  • Customers that return 50% or more of their purchase will be limited on the number of returns/exchanges allowed.

  • Gift Cards
  • Intimate Items (Bralettes)
  • Accessories: Hats, Jewelry, Socks, Hats 

Defective/Damaged/Missing Items

  • Please carefully inspect your item(s) upon delivery.
  • Hometown Heritage must be notified within 3 calendar days of mail delivery date by emailing us at info@hometownheritageclothing.com of damaged, defective, or incorrect item(s) prior to the return of such items.
